So last weekend (20th, not 28th) I helped a bunch of friends in the "48 hour film project". Many teams compete in each city's production of the challenge. The basic premise is that each team is assigned a genre of film, (horror, comedy, time travel, etc) and then you are all given a character, line and prop that has to be in the movie. You are given the assignments at 7:00 on Friday night and have to plan, script, block, film, edit and score a 4-7 minute film and turn in the completed movie on Sunday night at 7:00. It's a lot to do and the competition gets pretty intense. There are several professional filmmakers and SAG actors who do this for fun and/or recognition. Our team is a bunch of friends with a strong interest in filmmaking, enough to have some decent equipment and know-how, but we are most definitely amateurs.
I never know if I'm going to be cameraman, lighting, acting or what. We are always looking for scripts where we can throw one of my cars in - we really want to find a way to include my MG, but that didn't happen this year. This year I ended up being an actor... I'm the one in the yellow shirt!
The genre we got was "spoof/parody". The line we had to include was "In my opinion, it's perfect", the prop was 'an award' and the character was Alan (or Alexis) Fleming, a long distance runner. So, Oppo, I present for your 7 minute enjoyment - "The Running Dead".
Just for kicks, one of the other teams got Time Travel, look for the automotive cameo!

I've got a bunch of friends that used to do these sorts of things. In Dallas it was called the 24 hour video race.
I think most impressive was that they managed to do film with 20 seconds of stop motion animation in it, using the tools that were available over a decade ago. Computers getting faster and faster certainly hasn't hurt anything :)
